Most people toss dudes. If it's your only plant, read about dudes. If I ever had a lone male, I might try to grow it. The message board wisdom is toss dudes. There's evidence that they can also be used but it's flimsy. I'd like to know.

was not sure because what i guess now is seed pod clusters only showed up about 4 or 5 days ago

Male plants have one purpose and one purpose only...to pollinate females. In that way they are much like humans...but that is a different topic LOL!!! Some keep them or harvest the pollen for cross-breeding. But in general herbicide is the way most go..especially if there are females present. If you have other plants...mist the grow area and the plant down, put a trash bag over him, remove him from the grow area, hack him, take a shower before going in your grow area. it just takes one spore and one pistil to literally fuck your garden.

Or you can take a more botanically sound view. There's much incorrect conventional wisdom. If I understand the reason for THC in cannabis as protectant than it should be a trait of both sexes.

You are citing a very rare case where a male plant from a specific region in the world tested higher at 1.2% thc than the famale plant of that specific strain as well as a very low thc tested Thai landrace strain, still doesn't seem worth keeping to me except for breeding purposes, just guessing since the op didn't even know it was a male they aren't planning on becoming a breeder soon, but good article anyways

My guess is it's a loner, hence the silver lining.... I have females always, that's why I've never done it.
