What kinds of nutes does everyone use besides the usual grow and bloom. Like im using dynagro pro-tekt and bontanicare cal-mag. What are you guys using and why? I would like to know if theres something i should or could be using. I thought about some earth juice microblast...what do you use and why??

i use Hesi products on my grows....TNT Complex for veg. and Bloom Complex for Flowering. All thru the grow tho i use hesi's SuperVit which is great for the trace minerals. are you doing hydro or soil?

I use Botanicare Pro Blend series, the whole series. I use it cause I don't have any issues with it, this includes cal-mag, liquid karma, hydroguard, etc. I also like the fact that Botanicare Pro is an organic nute, and it seems pretty gentle on my plants.

Bat Guano is a good source of phosphorus

i always thought it was a good source of nitrogen... maybe both?

either way, i wanna try some bat guano. i think im gonna use it when it comes time to transplant into the final pot.

It's a good nitrogen nute too, their are different kinds of guano with different NPK #s.

Hey gygax i use that Calmag too. When we ordered our lights the guy sent us the whole line of botanicare. All we use is the calmag and pro-tekt. We use earth juice grow and catalyst so we didnt use the pureblend grow and bloom they sent us. That calmag is awesome stuff huh? And what about some kinda microblast or something for trace minerals? Should i or shouldnt i? And for whoever asked, im doing a soil grow. All im using so far is earthjuice grow, catalyst, pureblend calmag, and dynagro pro-tekt. Add a little epsom salt to clear up some yellowing and gonna use earth juice bloom, cha ching for late flowering and beastie bloomz for mid flowering. That cha ching and beastie bloomz is some amazing stuff. I also use Foxfarm Ocean Forest so it has all the guano, seaweed, perlite, worm castings, all that good stuff. This soil is so airy, black, and rich. I love it!! You can check out the results of https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/30622-my-little-babies.html Please ignore all the mess. Some people couldnt get around the fact i have more than one per pot. I explain very early on in the post what my intentions are so you can skip all the hubbub if you want to. Take a look and tell me what you think!

Cal-Mag works great, so you can lose the epsom salt I would think. I use a similar soil mix. Not sure if you have used the FF Cha Ching and what not, they are good but very strong go weak with the dosage. I don't know enough about your nutes to say anything good or bad.

I use:
Pro Blend Grow
Pro Blend Bloom
Liquid Karma
Hydroguard
Hydroplex Bloom enhancer
Sweet (might just use molassess, not sure yet, but it's cheaper than sweet)
Cal Mag
Clearex (pre harvest flush)
Superthrive

Both hydro and soil
soil mix is FF Light Warrior and Ocean Mix

I also do some grows with just guanos, seabird and bat, with bone meal, etc. but not too many.

I also find that with Botanicare I can almost use full dosage's in the beginning of the feed schedule, so I tend to call them gentle, and they are less salty than a lot of other nutes, don't get me wrong I still flush once a month. I've tried FF nutes but I didn't like as much, I think it was just that I was more comfy with what I already used...I burnt some plants with FF but it was my inexperience with them.

yeah dude, thats whats great about botanicare and earth juice and others. They are organic. Its very hard to over fert with organics. We've been using it since they popped out of the soil also. Very weak dose though. They are now getting the Advanced recommended dose. 2tblsp per gal. Also, i just used the epsom salt one time, from now on its calmag. And whats that hydroguard for? They sent us some of that, but we havent used it yet. Isnt it to help with retainin water or something. And about the beastie bloomz and cha ching. I seen an article where a guy grew 2 plants exactly the same but one w/ both and the other without. You should see the difference!! If i can find a link ill show ya. They sent us 5 bags of each of that too. And yeah, its very very strong. You only mix 1/4TEAspoon of the powder per gal. Pretty strong shit. Ocean forest and light warrior are the shit man, great soil. And the good thing is, they place we got the lights from messed up our order at first so they told us we get 25% off of all nutes from now on. So thats a pretty sweet deal i think. AHH, does anyone know how to make my sig say something instead of showing the whole address? Whats the code to insert words instead of the whole addy?!?

I did use 1/4 tsp. lol and one of myplants didn't like...lol. I'm sure it's good I just got to get used to it. Hydroguard helps prevent disease, protects roots from rot and whatnot, and it helps strengthen roots in general, blah blah. It's good stuff for the hydro resevoir, it can be used in soil too it still benefits the plants. But I only use it in hydro.
