OMG Flowering Questions. HELPP + rep

Hello RIU! I currently have 3 plants growing indoors. They will be 4 weeks old on Wednesday (July 2. They are about 4-7 inches tall. I want to start 12/12 Wednesday (July 2 night. 1. Do you think they are to young to start 12/12 (flowering). 2. My current light cycle for my plant is 24/0. Could I just start with 12 hours of darkness or should I lower the hours of light gradually? 3. If i flower them now about how ling will it take them to be done with flowering? (They are mostly Indica dominant Bagseeds) (1 looks mostly Sativa dominant).

Plants are never too young to start 12/12 some will react better than others, but I have done entire grows 12/12 from seed with great results. depending on your light setup and amount of available space when to start flowering is up to you. There's no way to determine how long a plant will flower for but typically, 8-10 weeks for a fast flowering strain ie indica or indica hybrid, and 11-14 weeks for a long flowering strain, like many "haze" strains

It takes up to 2 or 3 weeks to show sex.most of the time males show first..so your looking at a harvest around the middle to end of oct...then you still need to dry and cure..its just a waiting game now...happy growing...
