Omg help please!

Hello everyone this is my first post on rollitup but i am here all the time reading all the forums. I have since started my own dwc grow.I am now about half way into flowering and the she is really starting to bulk up her bud sites. However today my timer had a problem and the plant got about three to four hours more darkness than it should have gotten. What should I do? How will this affect yield? HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it on the normal schedule, if it just happened once you should be fine. I've messed up my schedule from time to time and it hasn't affected my plant. It could possibly stress it into a hermie, but that is unlikely.

Thanks, I was hoping that would be the cause because I would hate to reach this point and then turn out with a hermie. Another question, it seems that this plant is taking forever to grow. like the buds seem like they are starting to fatten a lil bit but I can really see any real density. Whats are some good signs to watch for to know that your plant is doing well in flowering?

well - usually when you switch a plant to flower, it stretches for a couple weeks and then slows down, overall, the plant should at least double in size from the time you switched it to flower, to the time its done. when it starts to get close to being ready the hairs will start to turn red... this is when you really want a small microscope to examine the trichomes to see if they are still clear, or starting to turn cloudy or amber. you got a minute to study up on that though - watch for the white hairs to change colors.
