over water or nut burn. new sprout pic inside.

My sprouts are 8 days old for some reason this one has been having problems and my other plants are 5 times bigger then this one. Today I came home to find it laying over on its side. Im using ocean forest for soil. I have been adding a very small amount fox farm big grow and big bloom to the water. My other plants are doing amazing. I havn't watered them in 2 1/2 days. The soil was pretty dry today I was going to water them with fresh O/R water. I'm adding cal/mag to the r/o water to.

There is yellowing on the tip. Is that nut burn? Im adding 1/4 the regular amount of fox farm.

dont need to be adding anything to it so early... jus water normally when top inch of soil is dry with no nute until shes bout 5 weeks old or when the cotelydons start to die off... but yeh, its burnt

okay. do you think I should flush her? or she is to young and might die of over watering? can I still add cal/mag to the water? or will it matter at this young?

i dont kno about cal/mag, ive never used it... but flushn wont hurt anythin if your soil dont have self feeding ferts in it already... jus don pour the water directly on it, n make sure you have proper drainage. o, yeh your good flushn wit fox farm soil

I can't beleive how well flushing worked. after 30 minutes they stopped needing the supports I made for them and look like there going to recover. I had another one that started to fall over too now there both standing. Should I flush all my plants even though there not showing any sign of nut burn?

If you were giving them all extra food, then it might be rec. that you flush them just in case

Probably not a bad idea, but the big thing is don't feed them ANY nutes for several weeks. With FFOF soil (which is what I also use) you have plenty of nutrients in the soil for the first 4 to 6 weeks of vegging. FFOF tends to be slightly "hot" so it can be rough on seedlings and fresh clones sometimes, even without adding nutes. Now once your plants are a month old or so, then start adding the nutes (I don't add anything except an occassional dose of Cal-Mag with the water up to that point). I don't usually begin adding any serious amount of nutes until the last few weeks of veg.
