Initial research and development of Rosaberry was completed in November of last year. The intent of this breeding project was to recreate CBD's in seed form. I was suspicious as to whether or not the one cross to the AC/DC would be enough to do that. Half of the six females from the initial R & D run have tested at a 1:1 ratio with a total cannabinoid content of app. 21%. Two pheno's have been selected from the initial R & D run to be backcrossed and are just now finishing. Rosaberry is tentatively scheduled for release by the end of this summer, 2016.

There are currently three other strains in the beginning stages of R & D and four others right behind those three. I hope to have at least four, maybe five of those completed by the end of this year and the other three to four completed by the end of next year. Just all kinda depends on how tomorrow looks, ya know?

Through veg. lots of vigor to these plants and nice colors started forming early on the stems. All plants in this run were slightly overfed but the Rosaberry handled it well. She took after her mother in that regard. She likes to eat and can pack on the weight, too. Her mother, the AC/DC is also a heavy feeder with fast growing roots that tend to fill up the pot space quickly. The mother AC/DC plant was very floppy, like an upside down drunken spider, but the Rosaberry displays none of this tendency. She's a very vigorous cross. Through six weeks of flower. By the time most of these photos were taken the plants had transitioned to 11 hours light and 13 hours dark. Buy the end of the third week the plants were showing nice signs of resin production and by the end of the fourth week the plants really started putting on weight and chunking up. By the end of the seventh week the plants were showing signs of being done and half of them would have been taken before the start of the eighth week. Half the plants were harvested on the 53rd day in flower and the other half were harvested several days later. Buy the sixth week the plants had taken on a sweet and tangy rose and berry smell after transitioning through a few weeks of heavy lemon/berry smell.

I just got my Shortbread from OES, they're in the seed popper now ;?D. Don't know if I'll have the space (depends on how many turn out to be girls and how many keepers), but I sure would like to squeeze some of the Rosaberry into my room, those last pics keep making my mouth water (really love the blueberry X's I've tried so far)

@Jd Short, I've been thinking about changing up my nute program and was wondering, if it's not a trade secret, lol. what you feed your girls, any additives, or are you straight organic? I'm running a sort of modified hempy bucket system but with the addition of a percentage of organics added, but I like DTW because it's easier to flush if there's a problem and don't have to deal with nute buildup or res issues.

When I grew outdoors I was more into organic, but had some problems when I first moved to indoor growing, plus got convinced to go more hydro at the time. But now I'm thinking of moving back, just can't get up the nerve to pull the trigger and switch, lol. I figure if I'm going to grow your genetics, I'd get the best results following a similar feeding program. Or if there's a link to something already posted I appreciate it as well ;?)

Hey JD I was just wondering how many hermaphodites you had to weed thru before finding a true female... You were supposed to get ahold of me to make shit right after your whole seed pack hermaphodited... You offered me two seed packs to make it right... I'm out ALOT of money seeing as how my cycles are SCREWED! But hey I'll take the $115 dollars back so I can buy a strain from a real breeder who doesn't sell garbage herm strains.

Hi ao the curreent Rosaberry says as the description that it is an F1 but I see that it was backcrossed at least once. Can you tell me exactly what I just bought as far as the work you have done on it?

If only i could buy rosaberry seeds! i am French and here in Europe we have plenty seedbanks but they don't sell SGG or OWG seeds.
We blueberry lovers are so frustrated!

May be someone knows a reliable seedbank who sells those beans to international?

Thank you PCC. SHN seems to be the right shop, but payment Will be complicated for me, i don't want to pay with crédit card and i have to fond some USD to send in enveloppe because them don't take €. It could be so simple if those seeds were sold in UK, NL or Spain seed shops.
