Ozn-Jr Ozonater Review

well I bought this for about 80 dollars and let me tell you. it is as good as I could have ever hoped. I don't get a strong smell unless I am within inches of my buds. it does smell like ozone, that fresh rain smell, but with the self contained timer it doesn't over power you like the others. I can't smell a bit of pot from a foot away. it only uses
7 watts!!! and it completely kills the cat box odor!!! which is in another room I might add. it is completely silent, unlike carbon filters with squirrel cages and can fans and about 1/3 the price of a carbon filter set-up now I grow in about a 4 sq. ft box, but it easily neutralizes the odors in about 500 sq. ft. the product says 1000 sq. ft. I don't know how much I believe that. so for those worried about scent control and most of us are. this is definitely a product to consider!

just a review for those wondering

I am considering an ozone generator. Where did you get this one? I was going to go to the hydro store today to get one, but it's only to nuetralize a small amount of odor coming from my veg room right now. My flower tent 4x4 has a carbon filter on it. It all sits in a spare bedroom (veg, and flower tent) and I just want to clean the leftover stankies from the veggers. You think this would cut it?

definately would cut it my friend. I don't remember who I got it from..... not my normal hydro store I used the cheapest on google lol. I think you'll be able to remove your carbon filter if you put one of these in that bedroom. you will need to leave that bedroom door open but don't worry it won't let any odor out

Why would I need to leave the bedroom door open?

I have some experience with ozone generators for air purification. It works but at least back in the day machines were overpriced and unreliable and you had to buy new boards of some kind for them. Looks like they have got the price down for the ozn jr. Are there parts that have to be replaced periodically and what do they cost? What kind of warranty is there? I might consider one, this is the best price I've found.

Well the prices don't seem too bad. I'm strongly considering the UVOnair 5000.

It seems to be the most popular choice. My Can-66 filters cost me about $199.00 anyway to replace every 12-18 months. If these work as well I will give it a go. I'm probably going to just go ahead and pick one up today. I gotta try to keep the odors down, so...

that uvo is going to be STRONG!!!! I suggest getting a timer for it as well and leave the door open because the ozone will build up in a closed room and be very overpowering. if you leave the door open it will be a ok.

I did not see a warranty period on any of my literature. it says that none of the parts are servicable and blah blah. it's doing good for now. I am expecting it to burn out at about six months so I figure thats still half the price of my can fan set up!

I thought it might be a bit strong, I have a window open in the bedroom most of the time and I just want to get the air cleaned pretty well before it goes out that window. The odor isn't strong as the flower room gets filtered, it's just the leftovers from veg. My veggie plants are already stank-ola!
