Phantom photobio max 680 to trolmaster hcs1

The photobio has a 2 pin connector on one end and a 4 pin on the other the twist lock kinds like on most power supply cables, and the trolmaster has rj12 connections and I can’t find any adapters or anything by either of them. Anybody have any experience? I know it’s a long shot but on the faq for the light it says it’s compatible with trolmaster that’s why I bought them. And they were out of Luxx 645s.

And you need the LM14 adapter if the drivers use 0-10v dimming protocol (most do)

Yeah I have the adapter and use it for my Luxx lights but it’s rj-12 not whatever connection the photobio usesand I can’t find how to connect the 2 different connections. Why phantom would have on their main page that it’s compatible with trolmaster then not directly make an adapter is beyond me.

You need this adaptor, if you can’t find it dm me and I can see if I can order it tomorrow when I’m at work and send or have it drop shipped.

Okay nm I’m wrong you need a 2 pin that would attach to light right? but same idea. I’ll see what I can figure out, have you tried calling trolmaster?

Yes I did, just seen your comment. Completely forgot about this post haha. You have to use sec-2 the 3.5 mm audio jack looking one and then you splice off the end of the controller wire on the photobios and directly splice into neg/pos wires. Both trolmaster and photobio confirmed this for me and didn’t mention anything about voiding warranty or anything I will post screenshots of convos.

Did you ever get your Photobio connected to your Trolmaster? I have everything connected correctly but the Trolmaster cannot dim the Photobio. I spoke with Phantom and they sent me a new driver for the light. I hooked it all up and it still does not work. I am using the ECS and the LMA-14.

What driver does the photo bio use. If it needs pwm dimming you need a different adapter to the lma14.
Also did you make sure the lma14 is connected between the light and the Trolmaster? (I know dumb question but sometimes can get mixed up when swapping rj12 cables)
