Plant issues

Plants 6 weeks old about 14 inches tall have it in a closet which i personally ventilate every so often. has a 45w agrolight hanging above it. I usually give it about 15-17 hours of light. I feed it nutes once a week .I use to move it between the light and sunlight but now it just sits under the light. The lower 11 inches of the plant all the leaves have turned brown and started to fall off. some of the leaves are still green till about 1/3 of the leaf where they turn brown. Should i clip these and the rest that are dead of the plant to focus energy on the new growth? there is only the top 2 leaves and the new growth thats looks healthy. The stalk is also looking healthy. any help would be greatly appreciated.

If that's all the light ur using, that's not enough. That's the reason ur leaves are dying. U need some more light, lot more. Leave it outside til u get more light, and don't take the leaves of it just yet.

Why only 15-17 hours of light?? Veg the plant 24 hours of light till your ready to flower.

Hey budworth, does ur shit grow quicker unde 24/7? jw cuz i do mine 18/6 and haven't tried the 24/7 yet.

I like 24 for vegging. The plants don't need the extra rest. The point is to get as big as quick as you can in veg then switch to 12/12 at your liking.

I may try that down the road to see. Won't be for a bit though since my nest in line's gonna be lowryder2Xa47's. 20/4 all they way, YUM!

Side light it... not enough light getting to the lower plant due to the leaves on top blocking everything. And definitely gonna need more than a 45W man.. at least get another 2 13's or 2 27's and stick them on the sides.

Def need more light...and how far away do you have the light right now.get that bitch as close as possible man. also look into getting come more lights for sure asap man. if your tight on money let us know and im sure people can help you out by doing it yourself and with as minimal money as possible if not look into some t5 lighting systems if you want to stay flouro
