Plant Leave are Giving Me Mixed Messages

Hi There,

So I've got a few problems with my plants. One being small bugs in one pot. But I posted about that in the bugs section.

I'm growing in pots but not under lights. They spend the day outside and sleep inside at night.

I've read some of the advice here and figured it could be a couple of things. So as a newbie I'm confused.

So here's the problems I'm having with the leaves...

2 plants in separate pots(one having the bug problem) but both seem to be lighter than other plants in other pots. These ladies seem to not be growing well. They are multiplying their leaves but not nearly as well as the other plants. It does seem like they are a little stunted.

Then I have 2 plants with light brown specs on the leaves. There's no real pattern, just random light brown specs.

I read this could be heat stress. They are outside in full sun for some of the day.

But they are growing well and multiplying nice big leaves.

So my questions are...

How do I determine what it is? And how do I fix this?

Thanks so much for any help.
