Hey guys
First post
First crop!
These 2 plants are in a evaporation type grow box. They did great all summer but now one of them looks to be struggling. Im trying to give it only water now so i can pull after a week or so(after flush)
The buda seem to kind of be loosing density?
Question is should i pull now or finish flush? Its bag seed. I live in colorado and it will be frosting at some point this week too. Do i pull before frosting or continue flushing? Im 4 days into flushing so far. Btw i have a purple plant that has some amber lookinh trichomes that's also outdoors. But it's looking healthy And may be still growing? Should i pull now since amber trichs or do i continue to finish flushing lmk thx i am a newbie obviously:)

just my own observation my plants will do this if the temp drops under 60 degrees F. The leaves turned light green and the next day all lower leaves dropped out kind of a natural lollipopping. I have had no problems since. Also I can not tell for sure but they look really frosty and already milky so I would not worry too much but watch the night temps. Cool is good in flower but not to cold. I am not an expert hobby grower. IT all looks pretty good, nice plants and sugar. Good luck and remember "EVERYTHING GONNA BE AW RIGHT !"

Why flush? In all my years of growing I have never had to flush a plant, for any reason. What is your reason?

Something I picked up from Arjan from greenhouse seeds flushing and drying out the plants for 4-5 days each time. This cleanses the plants medium and gets more oxygen to your roots causing the buds to puff up after their first feeding. Also increasing resin production. Its a common practice to mature plants quicker, if done right.(Plants must dry out completely after each flush) Check it out. On youtube I am sorry I did not save the link its the white widow in flower by greenhouse seeds. I posted pics of my girls at 3 weeks in flower. I thought I would give it a try and my buds are as big at 3 weeks as they were at 5 weeks last grow and I have one of the same strains again so I know it works. But just try it on one plant one grow and see for yourself.

Flushing isn't something you have to do, but choose to do. It can improve taste and smoke a lot, and if you're using any nutrients you want to flush them out so they arent in the plant when you harvest. if you've never done it, you should try it.

I agree. From research and reading book after book you should always flush 1-2 weeks before pulling !(depending on medium) But to re focus on my original post/question please. Thoughts on that plant??

That's all a crock of shit!If you feed your plant right you NEVER need to flush. It is a myth and will do nothing other than starve your plant when it needs to swell. It kills the plant to simulate a truly finished plant.
