I always catch a strong whiff right when my lights turn on and 20 mins before they shut off, generally my room has more of a smell with the light on.

i feel mine smells more with lights on but i cant really tell because im permanently around my plants

Some plants always reek. Day or night. Veg or flower. Some barely smell or don't till the end. How bad is strain/pheno dependant.
