Plants left alone

A friend of mine will be gone for 3 days. I won't be able to watch his plant. They are about 7" with 3 or 4 nodes. Which would be best for him to do? Leave the lights on or off for the 3 days? I said it wouldn't matter.

Just tell him to water them thoroughly before he leaves and to make sure the lights aren't too close to the plants so they don't burn if they grow a lot in three days. They should be just fine.

Also, make sure there's a fan on to move around the air.

Why would you turn them off? I assume @ 7" he is in veg so I would think 3 days wouldn't be that big of a problem. I might raise the light if it's an HID just to get some heat away and to slow evaporation, but if there in enough soil they will be fine with water.

definately dont have the lights off, because you could easily trigger the flowering process
