plants might be to tall for blooming in closet? plz help

my plants are about 2 feet and im gonna flower soon and ive heard that they can get double the size during flowering if so i only have about 1 more feeet for them to go before my light bulb is 10 to 12 inches from them. im recently growing big bud and ive already topped them once, i am now regreting not getting a short plant like papaya, hindu kush or bubblelicious, i was anxious to see huge buds but would it be a possibility that my plants will get over 1 foot taller during bloom and how far should i keep my bulb from plants during bloom, if over 1 foot then i might be in trouble.

Get some bushmaster...the plant wont grow vertical anymore

tie the tops down to the pots and they will grow in a sideways style kind of like a scrog without the screen just string tying down the the branches that get to high

ill try the tieing strategy because ive already ordered nutes and my wife already said enough is enough for now lol. wil the branches be able to support the buds.

what size light you got and what kind?
and ya i would tie them down, just do it gradually. those are my thoughts....

yeah the buds will be fine the stems will react to the increasing weight and strengthen

i wouldn't say bend them right to breaking point but more vertical the branches should bend fine its just the top few you should be careful doing it with but weed is like a russian prostitute there tough and they can take a beating
