Plastic Storage Bin Scrog Grow.

So here is my little plastic bin grow I've done 2 cycles in it so far and loving it. Now it's time to max out my yield with my 4 Vero 29s 4000k pulling 110w from the wall, I made a small scrog to fit in there this my first attempt to grow scrog, I'm excited to try it out. I was going to run two girls in 3 gallon fab pots but the both won't fit under the scrog so I'm down to one and I'll veg out the other to be a mother. The strain is CBD Critical Mass from CBD Crew, it's suppose to be a 1:1, it's a decent smoke small buzz but gotta burn a lot to get a ok but it takes away pain pretty well with out getting high. But lately I've been making it into RSO and putting that into capulse to take them. I'm in a all organic soil gold and black potting soil with the craft blend nuts mix from build a soil I cooked it for 30 days. I put rice hulls in to, red wiggles are in the soil as well. Straw mulch along with a top crop. She's been under the cobs for 16 days now and growing very well. I'll be putting a blumat carrot in the medium soon with a one gallon res on top of the cab. I'll be feeding her compost teas, aloe juice, coconut water and SST every once in a while and spray her with aloe too to keep her healthy. I'll probably top dress with some worm castings right before I flip to flower but that won't be till the scrog is about 60-70% full then will train the rest of it once she start stretching. I'll update every few days or at least once a week. I'll be putting black duct tape of the outside of it to help with the light leaking out.

Nice setup! is that strain compact? Your cabinet looks about the same height as mine, which is 42". Hope you don't run into height issues.

They also make several aerosol spray paints that bond with plastic.

Mine is 36" tall, it doesn't stretch to much which is nice so it stacks big/fat. And when she's stretching I'll still be weaving/keeping her under the scrog so she only stays 6-8" about the scrog that's the goal anyway haha.

Yeah I was going to do that, just been busy between work, my main grow and family. But I'm going to try and get it this weekend.

Here's a quick update nothing to special but she's slowly filling out the screen, I'm super amped too I was given 4 gorilla glue #4 clones two are in my aeroponic cloner but the those two I just put in soil when I got them they had big roots. I'm really hoping they're the real ones too any other traits other than the twisted finger on the leaves that they have so I know they're the real,and they'll be a part of my main grow now and maybe in my cab soon too, once this girl is done.

What else is growing in the pot, sharing available nutrients?

It's a cover crop yeah they do need to be trimmed. I know it's not practical to do no till in a 3 gallon pot but I know the soil and worms,microbes and plant benefit from the cover crop so I just threw it in there it can hurt anything.

Yeah I do haha, it's a top crop full organics at its finest and I'm loving it and the plant is loving it too, my blumat system is watering it so its on auto pilot just gotta weave it through the scrog every few days, gonna fill to flower this weekend.

She's going into week three of veg and the scrog is getting pretty full already, I'll let it go till this weekend and than I'll flip to flower. I set up the blumat on her on Friday so she's on autopilot and the occasional teas here and there to keep her green. Other than that not a lot of excitement at the moment. I'll update again when I flip to 12/12.

Here's a update on my cab, she had her first night of 12 hours of dark Monday night so she's on day 3 of flowers and stretching some so far, I hope she stretches more to help fill in the rest of the scrog, if she doesn't fill it all in oh well it's my first time growing with a scrog. She's super healthy and growing fast. Just fed her with some full power from buildasoil. But other than that she's only had water from the blumat for the last week and half.

Here's a update of day 11 of flower sorry for the late update but things are going really well other than the screen not filling all the way out but this is my first scrog grow so it was a noob mistake haha. I'll be doing two two gallon pots next cycle to fill in the whole screen faster. Bud sites are forming I topped dressed with the craft blend mix and gave her a alfalfa kelp tea this morning so she has enough flower nutes in the soil for her. It should be good for a while, loving the blumat system with organics so far I don't have to do much at all but keep the res full and teas here and there, along with coconut water and aloe juice.

She's on day 30 of flower and she's looking beautiful. I've never grown such a healthy plant before and that's thanks to the organic mix she is in, and it's so simple too. The cobs are on full power of 110w. Some pretty nice bud development so far I'm hoping they all become big fat dense buds, excited to see what I yield from these cobs with scrog. I'll update mor often since buds are growing now so it's more exciting to look at haha.
