Gday all, this is my second grow, first in dry stage. Anyway I started a few diesel ryders to collect pollen I plan to use pollen on ax47 x diesel I have. When pollen started to come in I decided to shake a little on the DR's two side branches. I did this in week four is now week six and one of the plants I thought was all male turned up with both sexes. I think it stressed out when I topped it early about two and a half weeks no more toping for me. Anyway I destroyed plant and its pollen what to do with the growing bud on one side of two different plants. Does this mean the seeds if any are going to have hermie tendencies? What to do
THANKS.

Firstly: If this is only your second grow then I think you are being way to ambitious.
Secondly: what do you mean by 'dry stage'?
Thirdly: Are you growing males to collect the pollen for crossing genetics?
Finally: You need to make your post clearer to get the best answers.:joint:

I've topped every plant I've grown and never had a problem, look elsewhere for blame, most likely a light leak or poor genetics. Yes, the offspring will be prone to hermaphrodism. Cut the pollinated branches off so that you don't drain the rest off the plant of energy to make resin.

It's not a good idea to top autoflowering plants because they enter flowerinig so quickly. You can't control how long they are in a vegetative state.
