I don't know how this strain stretches but there must be info on RIU somewhere. As far as the stealth issues involved, I would tie off to the top and pull it over. Wouldn't want to cut it. Good luck.

Like brother said, just tie the top down, maybe put in a stake somewhere and tie rope to the top and the stake, don't break the stem, just bend it over slowly. If needed you may need to continue bending over a few days.

Lst tie a string to the tip top maybe a few inchs from top then bend that bitch over and tie her down
