hi all,
first timer here, and after doing ALOT of searching i think ive come to the conclusion of a K def. i was just hoping somebody could take a look n make sure i have it right before i go out n get a buncha shit to correct it. much thanx!20140301_102124.jpg20140301_102135.jpg

dannyboy, can you explain what you're looking at here? Your diagnosis was not the least bit tentative. I've been collecting pictures of hapless plants from this forum and copy/pasting them into a document along with an explanation of the problem for future reference.

A nute def starts as discoloring. It starts out as a small problem that grows into a big problem. Anytime you see a burned, charred leaf like that one in the pic it can only be one thing...too much fertilizer.

well, way to be an uninformative dick bag dannyboy. the last few posts i put on this site, everyone was extremely helpful and not dick-ish at all. and especially seeing as how i posted in the "noob section". iiiim not exactly sure how it could be nute burn seeing as that i only feed once every 3 waterings, and even at that still dont use a full dose. i actually just did a ph test and it was way high. hhhmmm, maybe time to do your homework and stop being such an assbag, huh dannyboy? hhmmmm...

Lol dude don't get your panties in a bunch. I can't explain how you burned it, just that you did. It will most likely be fine. They don't call it weed for nuttin.

I don't think its burn at all. It looks like it is exhibiting a Magnesium deficiency too me. That my opinion anyways. A pic of the entire plant couldn't hurt.

thats the thing, it was only those two leaves that were burn up. and they were about midway up the plant. at first i thought maybe they were just shadowed out for too long, buuuut i really dont think that woulda done that. and dannyboy, i do apologize. shouldnt have flown off the hanlde like that.

It's nadda prob bro. Supertramp I still think it looks like a little burn. Mag def doesn't char leaves like that. Do u think it's late stage mag def? Any way an Epsom salt foliar spray won't hurt in either case. It's a fast way to get mag into the leaf. Hope ur plant bounces back

There are times deficiencies do not all ways present exactly as we expect or how the books teach us.
Just two leaves huh? They were not directly in front of your fan were they?
