"At first go with the fact, not the supposition"
This just isn't me, I'm the exact opposite. But i appreciate your input, i really, really do. We're just different, but I will carry your words with me going forwards.
I do believe in being intuitive and going against "the flow" in lots of occasions.
I mean...i do homemade fertilizers without the need of a laboratory or science telling me if i should do them or no.
Sometimes, if we wait for science to validate things, we will just die waiting :P

A friend of mine who studies biology, was afraid of me doing homemade ferts since i could reproduce not only the good microorganisms, but also the bad ones. But there's no way for me to believe that i must own millionaire technologies to make a fertilizer.

I do believe knowledge and cultural goods belong to the people, no to the elites or the academies.

But with that being said...what we suppose and what we intuitive sense, changes according our background of knowledge and experience.

I remember one of my first grows where i was chasing pH all the time. Made it fluctuate between 6-6.8, like watering @ 6 sometimes, and @ 6,5 the following watering, etc. I even corrected water temperature.
I ended up fucking the plant up because of taking bad advice regarding watering practices. Totally my fault, because i was the one who listened to the "guru" that told me what to do and went against what i was doing.
It's just an example of how i was so focused on a detail (pH and water temp) that i couldn't see the bulk of botanical practices i was doing wrong.
(Obviously if you re doing hydro, pH becomes more important instead of a detail).
I'm sure nowadays i could use that same setup of growing medium, strain and ferts, and have a good grow.

Another good friend of mine, an agricultural engineer, told me "in biology, 2 plus 2 ain't 4". In reference all of the interactions that happen in an ecosystem and how sometimes we can miss the bigger picture because of our atomized vision of science.
It make it's very difficult for "occidental" science because we believe that by taking a piece of the tree to the lab, we will know the whole forest.

We feed our pets with industrial processed food because "animal nutrition is studied and they end up with these pebbles that contain everything our dog needs", but yet we ignore millions of biology evolution that show us that dogs eat, mainly, raw meat and bones.

So, as you can see, i totally believe in moving in unknown territories and trying things. Science can orientate us, but we are the ones who must decide to move and experience.

Anyway, cannabis is so amazing that we end up talking about all this stuff.
Keep us updated on your grow.

You’d think the added N would help green them up?
I actually think if you look closely some leaves are in fact just a lil bit a more "deep green" than before. It's barely noticeable through a webcam with lights on though :D

Edit: Also mind that i was using the new Biobizz Starter Pack products, certified made this year so that should be more reassuring than before lol

Been on vacation for a while, just came back. Girlfriend has been trained and helped in keeping the plant in tip-top shape (and me relaxed).
She kept swelling up and overall it seems i left her in very good hands... everything seems perfect to me so far.

Now fertigating 3 times out of 4 total weekly waterings, sporting a prettier and healthier-looking shade of green.
