Pots or Ground?

Hey all

I am going plant outdoors this spring in a lil greenhouse
do u think i should plant in the Ground or pots??

I would probably think pots since you can control what's in the pot, and what is being put into the pot......plus it doesn't tear up your yard.

I would definitely use pots

Both have their pros and cons. In the ground, you would benefit by a bigger and more robust yield, but with the pots you have portability in an emergency situation.

In the ground you could mulch and make watering a minor chore. In pots you will be required to monitor plants frequently for moisture content.

In the ground you can leisurely add needed minerals which will stay in the soil benefiting that soil for generations. Containers would require constant monitoring and quick action required when a deficiency is detected.

The In-the-ground method would be a more organic course of action whereas containers for the more chemical minded grower.

If it were me I'd go half in half or a similar combination of the two methods to get the best of both worlds.
