So im the happy new buyer of a bluelab ec/ppm pen, since i want to know how much to add in my RO water.
Im using GHE floratrio, and i have lately had some trouble keeping my plants healthy.
Previous watering, i gave my plants clean RO water. - Stupid idea. My plants are dying, and i speculating if its because of all minerals are washed away from the biobizz light mix.
So i got this ppm stick, and watered my plants with 880 ppm, and also added 0,5ml/l calmag..
Tested the runoff, and it read 770 ppm
- And now i feel like i need some help. They are in week 5 at veggetative mode
Should i stay at the same dose? Or lower it to get the perfect ppm runoff ?
Or would it make a salt buildup, since i think its a bit high dose for veggin plants?
--- And how do you buffer ph in your ro water with nutes in it ? Some says, you dont have to correct it in soil, but the ph of the runoff told me 7,1 which is not perfect i assume?
