hi I got myself a 20litre(4 gallon) nft system as I have a little room space means alot to me and it size is perfect. I got a few teething problems now but my first grow cycle was ok.About 6weeks into 2Nd cycle i noticed that some old leaves went yellow and shrivelled up and died then almost from the next day on other leaves started to do the same and continued to do so i tried flushing, adjusting ec and ph with no good results so as the plants were only a few days away from when i wanted to cut them i did so early. i noticed when going to clean the system that the root mat was maybe about 5-10cm (half an inch) thick compared to my first grow it was very dense twice maybe 3 times as thick i think this has something to do with the problem. The only thing i changed in the two growths were in the 1st the pump was turned up to full flow and only came on with the lights in the 2nd growth i turned the pump to half the flow and kept it on 24/7. I am now 1 week into flowering (1xblue cheese & 1xAk4
in my 3rd growth cycle and i've been keeping an eye on my root mat and it has started to thicken but no were near as much as in my 2nd growth. Any good tips on what could help my Ladies would be most appreciated. I can attach pics ill put some in then maybe this will help you with giving me some help with my problem.
