Prune or don't prune

Im still in the veg stage, about 6 wks, they are short and bushy, 5-7 nodes tall. I have been toppong and FIMing and have several different tops now. BUT I have new growth developing at the node, new leaves are growing from that spot. Do I need to pull off that new growth so the plants will continue to grow taller or leave the new little leaves there?

does ur plant look like this?....this is a 6week plant that's bushy and has been topped and fimmed several times....day 1flowering today...

Im about 4 days in from topping one last time, start flowering or let veg for another week

I wouldn't top anymore....the more u do so the smaller ur top buds will be..u can only top so many times before it just becomes counter productive.....like I SD its hard to say w no pics but I wouldn't have topped mine another round....unless I was gonna do another two weeks of veg....are u pickin up what I'm putting down???...(do u get it?)
