im three weeks into flowering and i was wondering if it was okay to cut away the lowering branches an leaves that arnt creating bud to increase bud size and yeild, in those places that are....plus it would increase vertical growth....i read this in the growfaq but it only talked about early flowering heres some pics....

IMO, looking at those plants, I wouldn't do any trimming. You don't have an excessive amount of veg growth below, and those few leaves are holding vital sugars and nutrients that the buds are feeding off of.

I'd advise some stakes for support as it looks like they may have been grown without a fan on them as the stalks seem very thin. If they start putting on weight, they are going to fall over.

Get a fan in if you can, and some support and watch those babies finish well.

Now, if you are still set on doing some lower trimming, I'd do it now...as after about 3 weeks in flower is when I never touch anything and let them go crazy.

Peace - OGH
