Pulling Males

Hi I was just wondering if anyone knew whether pulling males before the pollen sacks fully mature and laying them on the ground near the site is safe. I mean, will they eventually open up even though the plant is pulled from the ground and release pollen? Thanks.

depends how much energy the plant has left befor it dies it can happen, just bag n bin them

The day they show a ball i pull and burn them in the fire pit. I dont even throw them away just torch them.

Ok then, sound like I'll have to devise a way to inconspicuously remove them from the golf course they are located near...
