Question About Bud Aroma!!Where’s The Smell?

So I’m at the start of week six of a Indica strain.First day of week 6 to be exact. Hydroponic DWC fist grow...
My question is what can I do to increase Bud Aroma?
Like I really have to put my nose to the Bud to get a whiff of it’s pungent ordor or touch a sugar leaf. Trichomes are getting pretty frosty though.

Hello, that very much depends on the strain. Most all strains you will need to touch the trichs to get a good smell of the bud. Also some like to ripen up late with more smell coming on later, while others are stank nasty from day one.

U gota cut it when the tricomes are ripe and cure it properly if u fuck it up you can always go to ebay and grab terpene and add it lolz look for thump_easy lolz plug!!!!! Jk.

I have read that because aroma isn't at the top of the list of selected qualities it's getting bred out over time and newer strains are stronger but less pungent.

Ask someone who doesn't smoke pot to smell it, I bet they'll tell you it reaks! I very rarely smell my plants because I'm so used to it.

This 100%

I've been growing same strain for a year now and I barely smell mine.

I gave some bud to my sister and was over her house and she stepped away to smoke and I could smell it from the other room. Smelled dope.

At my house im always complaining it doesn't stink, lol.
