Question for hydro growers, res temp-ambient temp

Hey guys! Question, if i run a dwc system using a res chiller @ 68F, would i be able to grow in ambient temps of 90F?? Or should i be concerned for root rot, ect

If you can keep the roots cool, oxygenated and dark then you should have no problems with root rot. That said, sometimes it happens, there are no guarantees. The heat can be hard on them and quality can suffer.

Also, it should be noted that 90F room temperature could bean 100F canopy temperature under HID lighting.

LED lighting would really help with leaf surface temps as HPS has a lot of infrared.
