I just bought a young future mother plant , and my friend made some techniques on it so it gets more bushy and better for clips , is this gonna work ? the plant is in my picture..

no need to train it at this point unless space is a huge concern just make sure you keep it under mh light (or whatever you use) for 18-24 hours a day (i go 24) to keep it in veggie state. but ya it should work fine. topping also helps create extra shoots anywhere you cut 2 grow back so have fun.

You are training the plant... No professionals needed. This is practiced when you have height restrictions or if you want to do a SCROG. Read up in the grow FAQ if you dont know what I'm talking about.:joint:

The plant is just fine, you will be able to take clones from it, just as if it was another plant.. All your friend was doing was training it to keep a low profile, they become really bushy and sometimes produce more buds this way because with this technique and if its properly trimmed right it can get light to the low branches there for creating more buds in the flowering stage..
