you can clone in water and a cup bcurwi1.

Rooting Hormone only speeds up the process of the clone forming roots. but i think rooting hormone works better if you stick it straight into soil because dipping it in hormon and then into water is just going to wash away the hormone at the tip of the plant. seems stupid!

anyways, cup and water will work but it will take a few weeks. make sure you change out your water every day or two. and make sure its water thats set out for 24 hours. so i would suggest possibly having 2 cups. one with the clone and one to put the clone into when you change water. then fill the other cup up again and allow to sit.

It's possible to use only water, my mom used to do it w/ Ivy. You just put the bottom in the water and use a tiny bit of fert like 1/15 fert/h2o mixture. Make sure the cut is at most a 45 degree cut when it's horizontal and split down the middle, should take a week to two weeks a tiny bit of growth.

If you're cheap look in the grofaq for cheap hormone and they have a good recipe that I read out of a book.
