Question on FLOWERING?

Right now my veg timer is set at 4:00am ON and 10:00pm OFF. I am ready to flower and my question is; would I harm the plants if I set the timer at 6:00 am ON and 6:00pm OFF? In other words, is it bad to raise the on time instead of just lowering the OFF time? Thanks to all that answer!

if ur veg is goin on 18 hours or what ever and ur ready to change, just leave it off for 12 hours and then start after 12 hours.

I agree, just give them a dark period of 12 hours or more, and begin your 12/12 schedule following that dark period at whatever time you want.

The reason why I must raise the ON time is because if I only lower the OFF time that means it would have to shut OFF at 4:00pm. However, I cannot make it home from work to close the closet door to make complete darkness. So that's why I am happy you guys are telling me it's ok to raise the ON time a couple of hours Thanks fella's!!!
