Also, when would be the appropriate time to use it? (if able to use)

Read GROWFAQ

You just told me what's in it. =) So why are you asking this? The marijuana plant does need nitrogen, phosphate, and potash.. so yes, you can use it. But the plant needs more than just those- so obviously you would need more than this to raise a healthy plant. And well- there's a higher percentage of phosphate in this than any of the other nutrients... and in the flowering period the plant uses more phosphate than any other nutrient...

do you have any suggestions on how to apply it? there isnt really any directions besides pull of the tab on the top, poke it into the soil, and it will release some of it daily.

you have to ask yourself, How much nutes exactly gets released into the soil and when? and then, it's only from that one spot, which means possible burning if it's too concentrated in one area. It's better to use an external source for nutes and fertz, than to rely on those timed release things.

if its not water soluble then should i just not use it? because i dont want to take any chances and over fertilize it. does anyone have any suggestions on which fertilizer i should use that is easy to get my hands on? like something that works good and can be found in any walmart, or canadian tire, or zellers or something. i live in canada by the way.
