Questions on purchasing seeds online.

Here is my main question. Have any of you ordered seeds from an online site but done so illegally. Meaning it's against your local law to import anything marijuana related. It is still very criminal where I live and I was wanting to know if this something that is considered risky.

My plan of action was to purchase a reloadable visa and send the package to my parents house under an assumed name, letting mom know in advance to hang on to it.

I could even put a proxy up when I submit the order.

Thoughts?

I did so for my first grow when I wasn't living in Spain, they arrived in normal post and had no problems with it. I even used my normal credit card and no proxies. Not saying it's not risky though...

if you're in the USA(but a bad state), then the chances of a followed up seed order are low
just how low is debatable
i ordered to NY state, and did something similar, i used a safe address
all 4 orders came through, so the risks seem modest, but again, it depends where you live

i heard that a pre paid visa card won't work (just word of mouth). I've just used my cc and straight to my house. No issues so far. I live in CO and have my red card. However I doubt customs appreciates it. Either way a friends mom ordered seeds to her house and hers were taken by customs. Just a letter is all that really ever happened. I think it's just luck of the draw and how well it's packaged.

there are rare follow ups, a law officer drops by and wants to talk to you
the 'classic' example was of a doctor in Indiana, but that was over 5 years ago
he did repeat orders, multiple confiscations, so he finally triggered some interest
he was busted big time, Indiana is one of the risker places for MJ
in the end, he got off very light, was cited by the state medical board for inappropriately treating his wife with MJ(this really was a MMJ case)
he moved out of Indiana and over to Nevada, he is a world class urologist
just the kind of riffraff you want to get out of your state

You get a letter from customs saying your stuff was confiscated, and it goes on your permanent record.
