Quick dwc setup question

i got my tote all setup and i just painted the lid black.now should i go ahead and paint the whole tote for the roots or will it be fine as is? its a neon green right now.

Rather than painting, buy another same container of same color or darker and put it outside of the other one.

it blocks the light and is an emergency leak stopper.

good idea! i already painted it but i have another of the same kind so ill stick it on there too
