Quick Question for future reference..

So, I'm not anywhere close to being ready for my 400w HPS, but I was noticing the temps inside my box with the 10 CFL's I have in there and my concern is that when I get the HPS going my temps are going to be too high. I'm not modding this box anymore as I plan to build a better one for the future now that I have a little experience and way more knowledge. If it came down to it...would it be bad to just keep the door open (along with the fans on) while all my lights are running to help keep the temp down?

What is your temps at the moment? anything above 85F is a nono you should aim for about 75F...

If you could get some picks of your setup that would be great.

If temp is too much of a big deal put an extractor fan in the side of the box to take the heat out... and a fan to intake the fresh air to replace it.

If it is too high your plants will just heat stress and sadly pass away so even though you dont want to mod anymore you may have to.
