quick question

I grew for the first time around this time last year, using only miracle grow and a 250watt sodium bulb with a home made reflector hood(i no, not ideal but hey, funds !!) four plants in total about an ounce and a half i got dry weight, not 2 bad for my first attempt i suppose. i used miracle gro water control or somethin like that.

Anyway, my questions are :
How can I get a bigger yield??
and if the answer is : bigger lamp, could i get a big yield with a 600watt lamp in miracle gro water control (moisture control)?

The strains i grew were super skunk x2 and Shiva/NL cross x2.
Can somebody help me?? I only have access to miracle gro and some pots ! lol

Hey. You forgot the most abundant resource you currently have available. You know what that is?
Your mind kid.
You know that if you improve upon your ventilation, light output, nutrient type, additives, and time spent on your plants. The output will improve. Why not try saving a few bucks or do some more creative scrounging to improve your situation. Read around, try hemp methods. Save up $20 for the correct nutes. Hi/Low your lights. Add more/better ventilation methods.
You know this mannnnnn!!!!!

No prob. Sorry for the stoned rant.

Hempy buckets kid. perculite, vermiculite, from the pet store/target. Any type of water holder + 16oz foam cup for clone to bucket method. Stop with the miracle grow. 400watt for a 3'x3' area, put in 12-14 clones, fans, real nutes. You'll be golden son.
Fa' shizzle my nizzle.

if you want more bud you need more light. another 250 over a 3x3 with a dense see of green will turn it out. 1 plant every 4 inches = 16 square inches times 3 feet equals 81 plants in a 9 by 9 row. that will do it. 600's are nice too.

If your going to spend the money on a 600w hps, why not spend a bit of money on soil and nutes too. Dump the miracle grow go get a great organic soil and some nutes and you will reap the benefits of your time and money. Goodluck on your grow.
