If you've done your research, you should know that during the vegetative state, blue spectrum lights otherwise known as 6500k daylight is the best bulb to use. Those who cannot afford expensive fixtures tend to work with CFL bulbs because they are magical in terms of growing living plants with low-cost budget. These bulbs have a nice build with a sturdy appeal and they are bright as hell. Prepare your sunglasses, and bring some professionalism to your growing opt.

I've started out with multiple light bulbs, forcing me to buy multiple light fixtures and sockets as well, adding on to my budget. Loews and home depot sell light fixtures, but your looking at around 6 dollars a piece, and to my knowledge, to grow healthy/worthy plants, you need at least 3 common 25 watter bulbs to a single plant.

I've come across a simple solution to tackle the chaos of wires and avoid spending more than you should, when you can totally invest that money into something more important such as nutrients.

I found a great connection from my friends back in China who sell appealing, large 65w bulbs producing over 4500 lumens. You approx. need only 1 bulb to 3 plants for a good 2/3 of the vegetative grow and you can use it during the whole grow cycle as additional lights as the plants grow bigger.

Here is the link for the bulbs, hope I helped some of you desperately looking for a solution to deciding on which grow lights to go with. These are the top of the top, best of the best when it comes to affordable growing.

4500k is no good at all for growing any plant 2700k for flowering 6500k for veg
lumen are what we see not the plant
1 of the bulbs will never grow 3 plants in veg unless there seedling
you need 2 per plant minimum so you might as well spend like £/$30 for a 250w 6500k/2700k light

I don't want you to feel any less smarter, but 4500 is the lumens, not the color spectrum. The bulbs are 6500k, producing 4500 lumens. 1 bulb will grow 3 from seedling to sprout up to 2/3 of their vegetative state.

Keep on smoking! Make sure you don't smoke before a job interview though, seems like your thought process is a jumble.

After the seedling stage, I veg 2 small plants under 2 65 watt, 2 55 watt, 2 45 watt and at LEAST 4 27 watt.

This provides 'adequate' light for 2 lst'd plants in 1.5 gallon pots.

1 65 watt certainly wouldn't work for me unless I was doing a 16 ounce cup grow .. then I wouldn't expect more than one plant per light.

But that's just me.

i agree, my vegg room is 3' x 3.5' .....I have (2) 125 watt CFL's [8,000 lumens each] and (1) 2 foot x 4 bulb T5 HO light (8,000 lumens)...runnin a total of 24,000 Lumens of CFL's...Now this is for seedling/ clones and i vegg in here for maybe 3 weeks only after the seeds break the soil, and then its off to the 1600 watt HPS room..

these are much better, almost 100 Lux per watt. (Lumens/watt) but they are more expensive then the ching-chong-chang 42 watters.
these come in 2700k for bloom and 6500k for vegg.

Thats 438W you are burning there!!! Why not be sensible and either get an 8 tube T5HO or a 400W HID, both will give you more lumens & less heat! W
