rain all over my big buds

firstgrowth

hi ya,

today i left the plant outside and it poured down all day, its 2ft and flowering away with big thc crystals on about 25% orange hairs. will the rain all over my bus affect the thc production and high?

short answer, no. but if it contines to rain daily or weekly you may need to dry out the plant to attempt to counteract mold .. good luck!

yeah man, consistent rain and wet ground makes buds to shit real fast. watch out, i had to harvest part of my plant early and loosen up the rest of it to keep it from going to total funky poopy shit

thats cool its only the first time its been out in the rain allday so will make sure it dont happen again!!
its in a dark room with the radiator on now taking a nice snooze lol pics below
was just looking at it and hopefully should be ok
sorry for the dodgy pics!

White Strain? which? love em!

arjans ultra haze #1 is the strain it smells so good now i'm wanting to eat it lol

does anyone know iff it will be ok to start clipping the top buds off a branch to let the lower buds develop??? the top buds are starting to get mainly red hairs whilst the lower buds on the branches are not. will this be ok to start clipping and harvesting gradually???

nice plant, it does look tasty!!
from the look of the pictures it still looks a little early. you have to look at the trichomes to know when its the best time to pick. i always go with 75 percent milky and 25 amber. how many weeks has it been into flowering? looks like it needs to ripen up a bit still but the pics are a lil foggy.

What kind of lights are you using? I know you said something about your plant being outdors, but does it stay outdoors or are you strictly relying on the sun? Just curious......

there are no lights just the sun and now i bring it in everyday as its getting cold and rainy so recently few days its just been in my bathroom with a velux roof window so not as much light as i would like but if the daily forecast is not rain then i leave it in the back garden i'm going to take a few closer pics if my phone can i will post in the next 20 mins

i've lost count of how longs its been flowering maybe 6 to 8 weeks,

heres some better pics below

the first pic has some trippy looking orb on the pic (no idea what that is!!)
on the last pic the trichomes look massive!!
i've just relised when i zoom in i can see the trichmes they all look kind of milky to me this will be my way of checking!! should i look out for when some start turning amber right?

judging by the pics my guess would be 2 weeks left till chop. nice pics and nice buds. still looks like it is producing more flowers.... they usually ripen for the last 2 weeks and fatten up.

i will keep going for a while i've read these sativa strains can take up to 3 weeks to flower?? i may harvest the top cola first hopefully help to bud up the lower buds on bottom branches, i think from next weekend i will only feed it water til the end. it has had two weeks of a molases and bat guano mixture fed to it twice a week

i've been puzzled to what strain this is as i tried to germinate a few together, turns out its low ryder no1!!! its 2 ft i didn't know they can get this big. it clicked to me yesterday when i saw a pic of low ryder on there own sight my main cola looks like the same as on their own site!

realised yesterday that there is no way these are ultra haze as they are nearly looking ready one branch was already full of orange hairs and getting a lil amber haze over it . me and a mate saw a pic of the low ryder one and it is identical to my plant i did germinate a low ryder so this is defo the low ryder 1 and is ready to harvest in the following week at some point. should i be gettin a few seeds which seem to some how be sitting on leaves ?? cuz thats what i found on a few of the lower branches.
i cut the ripe looking branch down last night and its in my lil home made drying box check out the pics below this only started drying last night and already looks delicious lol
