rain water

I store rain water in milk jugs and then put the stored water in a cool dark area of the house, does anyone else do this. I have a vegetable garden and they love rain water, city water not so much to many chemicals

My city water runs 600 + ppms, takes me no time at all to fill up all my jugs qith rain water, works great with my soil, all my girls like it
