ready for 12/12 different lights

my plant is almost ready for the flowering cycle

currently i have a 125w cfl 6 400k

am i going to be able to flower with my bulb or am i going to need a lower ----k cfl bulb?

You will want a 2700k - 3000k bulb(s) for flowering. The more the better with CFL's. Switching to HPS would be favourable but is not always possible.

I've flowered with 4k light temp before. Did pretty good actually but yeah, slightly lower temp like 2700 is preferred.
My opinion is the 4000 will give you more trichomes but the 2700 will give you more size.

I only have one ballast and a misses that already moans about electric :)

Will have to purchase another bulb then maybe 2700k red cfl, then just use that for flowering

Would a higher wattage improve results

u have the wrong bulbs.... 4000k isnt a spectrum of light that is usable for the plant during flowering... all youll be doing is running up your electricity bill

you only have one lamp? cfl's use a regular socket if you get one that uses 85watts and below..

its not about the watts, its about the lumens that the bulbs give out... more lumens equal better results.

you wanna shoot for over 5000 total lumens per plant
