the funny thing about religion is Jesus Christ was about abolishing all religion, yet the worst and biggest religion bares his name.
i believe in God a higher power but not in the "Church" as a building. I enjoy nature, enjoy a swim when its warm, I enjoy my pets, etc..etc...that to me is religion, it cant be defined by one person or organization but we hold it inside ourselves and its our choice to do good for another or do nothing,
...great point. I think the base of religion is neutral. People, on the other hand...not so much![]()
How can any religion be neutral when essentially they're telling you you're not complete without their teachings? That's the complete opposite of neutral, it's biased.
...I've yet to be told I needed to adhere only to this and that. See, I've actually sat with clergy members who say the opposite. I guess my experience must be unique, or, current.
I see comments like this a lot. I have to wonder if someone from a church that you attended for any period of time told you that? Did you experience it for yourself?
Don't get me wrong, I see the negatives to church as well as the positives.
The entire point of Christianity is to acknowledge that you are incomplete without The Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
The bible not only tells us how we're inadequate, but how we need certain teachings, principles, or other messages to become 'whole'.
Even religions like Buddhism tells you how you can 'be better' using a bunch of unsubstantiated woo-woo....

Men introduce their biases when they preside over whatever religion. And I don't mean "men" as males but as our species.
Religion is a noun that falls under an umbrella terminololgy that erroneously groups different things together for the ignorrant masses to pick apart and destroy.
Anybody that believes in a creator is automatically a religious person.
Anybody that believes in anything that isn't nothing, is a religious person.
Anybody that knows that science is a don, where only truths are important and not theories, may also be religious.
The thing with science is, the facts are of God. All the sheeple that ignorrantly bow down before Satan, they like to laugh at us religious folk because subjectively, he is a tyrant douche god. Well that's another lie right there. Religion is like Politics. There are good political things, and bad political things. Both of the things are made by US, the HUMANS. Religion is also made up by humans, with good and bad concepts brought upon ourselves by ourselves. Many retarded rocket scientists fail to grasp this.

How did the "Reverand" Jim Jones convince many people to drink poisionous Kool-Aid? Hell, I don't know. Because they were stupid? Was it evolution in action? My guess is "yes"; it was evolution in action. And thank goodness.
