Rolled and smoked

OK, I love nothing more than BBQ or smoked meat off the smoker.
I cook a lot outdoors. SO with that being said....................
This is called a fatty in the BBQ world. You can stuff it with just about anything you can think of. But the basics remain constant. Its a 1# of Jimmy Dean sausage roll.
Lay it out flat, put in what ever ingredients, roll it up. Wrap it with bacon and toss it on the smoker. Close to 3 hours later, this is what you end up with. I use Maple syrup and blue berry muffin mix inside this one. It was delicious and disappeared in seconds.

Thanks guys, it is indeed very tasty.
Its not as large as it looks in the pic. Its only 1 pound sausage and 1 pound of bacon with the innards, 2 1/2 pounds total.
It disappears as quickly as it is sliced.

I like to use a few apple or cherry wood chunks with real lump charcoal. I have made some killer ribs and pulled pork.
Not to mention buckboard bacon, pastrami and Chinese pork. All on a smoker.
