root cellar growing

Here's the set up. I have a 6x6x6 root cellar the walls are made of earth and have some sort of metallic insulation on them. The room is wired with 4 110 plugs and a light socket.
I was planning on cutting the room in half--- one side for vegetation 4, 4 ft floros ---- the other side for flowering. 400 watt MH with a HPS Conversion bulb.

I have no idea how to vent it. Which side to run ventilation from how big of a fan?
Will this even work?

I sign the lease this weekend and then I can do more inspecting.

Does it have a chimney running down the house to the root cellar?

Does the house have a chimney?
if so can you punch a hole through the floor into the bottom of the chimney?
That would be good for ventilation.

If i were in your position i would make a frame for both my rooms and Panda film it, that saves on sorting the walls of the place out etc.

Obviously you'll need to have some odour control so look into carbon filters.
i'll find a link to a post i made about them..

no chimney but how about a main vent or something running from the basement to the roof?

I shouldn't just filter and vent through the ground? probably not... hum

I'm going to get keys in just a few hours...
Then I'll know more.

Yeah I inspected this evening. Wood structure is solid under a patio. I'm thinking heat resistant padding of some sort. A fan exhaust we have a clean air intake already.

Needs sealed up and due to lack of space for my afghi we're gonna dig a hole the size of her bucket. Growing smaller plants for now on.

If the rooms not tall enough..dig it deeper?

i know that's effort but i'm sure it could be done if there is not real foundations to it?
