Roots....Help!

Hey everyone. Im growing top 44 in 3 gallon pots. The plants are about 22 days old now and i have just noticed tinyroots coming out of the holes in the bottom of the pots. Is this normal?
It appears that the roots have headed straight down.

Will this cause my plants problems? i thought 3 gallons of soil/perlite would be suficient for top 44!

its fine man those root ends will die and stop growing down where theres no medium
