I have 4 plants and only 2 of the show this rot and select branches where they conect to the main stem which then goes into the ground so far the rot is localized and only affecting the branches that connect but I'm worried it will travel up and ruin my top colas. I've been spraying soap and baking soda water on the rotted parts. Is there anything else I can do or not do to help my plants. This is my first time growing and I'm now realizing I probably didnt pick the best strain for my climate but I think i can make it to harvest.

3% ho2o

ok thank you. I have 99% isopropyl alcohol is this safe to use instead of HO2O if i were to dilute it down to the 3%? its hard to find any HO2O with the state of the world right now.
I dont know about the ISO, Amazon has 3% HO2O case of 12 25 bucks US an i know it works on your problem, That will spread if not treated copper fungicide will also knock it back but once in the plant plan on fighting to the end.

I wouldn't use Alcohol that is going to wipe out any trichomes you have. Use h2o2 honestly here its easier to find than anywhere. If you have a hydro/grow shop near you ask them if they have alchemist h2o2. Usually they carry the technical grade stuff. Just make sure to properly dilute it down to 3% before spraying down your plants.

I dont understand why the isopropyl alcohol will kill trichome but h2o2 doesnt. I'm just spraying on the stems/branches. None of the buds are rotting so I wouldn't spray them. I'll try and find some of the h2o2 but no guarantees

Alcohol will literally liquify and wash away most of the resin glands altogether. Mild hydrogen peroxide will not do this. They are two completely different chemicals with two totally different functions.
