Safe sites to buy lights?

I am looking for a 400w hps relfector/ballast/bulbs.......any advice on where to get the best deal?

Check out HTG Supply (High Tech Gardening Supply). Great guys to deal with and super-discreet, plus they don't keep any buyer-specific data once the sale is completed. If you're lucky, they have a store near you. then you can just go in and pay cash with absolutely zero traceability.
Most places on the net are probably pretty safe though as long as you aren't doing something like buying ten 1,000 watt HPS lamps and a big hydro set up!! Buying a single 400 watt lamp isn't going to put you on anybody's radar!

I second htgsupply!! 3 days cross country for me! I paid $140 after s&h for a 400 watt hps. And yes you should be fine, box is normal looking.

i third it.. lol... but honestly.. great service and prices, and i usually get my stuff on the third day...

I just ordered from HTG a 150w hps good deal for my closet grow

I recently drove an hour to go to HTG myself a to pick up some stuff then the other day placed an order for some stuff I should picked up when I was there but didn't have the extra cash. I'm using one of their 400 watt HTG HPS lights which is working great so far and you can't beat the prices or the great customer service.

I personally would not buy anything grow related off ebay if i had an illegal op going. Anyone can go to an ebay dealers feedback page and see exactly who they have left feedback for. Plus, i bought one thing mj related off there and the hydro shop left " thanks for shopping at such and such hydro" in my feedback. fuck.
