Sannies Order Searched

Howdy RIU,
Man I am bit sketched out over here... I've order beans from most of all the big seedbanks and never once got the green tape.
Well, I paced an order over at Sannies, had it shipped regular mail:.. From the time it left to the east coast was only 12days total, quick. The package arrived today and it had green tape on it said examined by homelabd security. At this point my heart dropped when I saw the envelope... Upon opening it, it seemed as if it was actually never "unseladed" and didn't look reaped? Without giving out Sannies methods (f-u leo if your reading) as not cool to post shipping methods online, the beans were all still in the package...
Now my freak out is it that a testament to Sannies stealth?, Homeland Security setting me up for the okie dokie by not confiscating the beans? Very bizzare. Am I over reacting? Anyone else have this happen? Lol almost nervous now to POp anything...definitely am done for quite a while now ordering after this... I take it as a sign, and just pray my Seedsman order comes thru ok and I am done :)

Sannie does have great stealth. I'd say you're fine. I recall reading an identical story on here. My guess is that they opened the package thinking it was a shit ton of contraband, saw the contents of the package and said "ah, it's just -----" and went about their day.

I'd be more concerned about the seedsman order. Did you get insurance?

Yes thankfully on the Seedsman order I got insurance, first time not getting any was with Sannies, and all I can say is a big hats off to you Sannie for the most brilliant packaging!

Same thing happened to me with my order from attitude, arrived re-sealed with green customs tape and I got sad thinking my beans got grabbed, and to my surprise found them present and unmolested inside my package. My guess is that they opened it to see if the item was the same item as claimed, saw that it was, taped it up and moved on. Maybe it's because without breeder packs it's pretty easy for the seeds to get lost among the standard packing fillers like peanuts, bubblewrap, newspaper, etc. so if they open it, flick around through it, and don't see anything right away they just move on. Still, was enough to put me off of overseas ordering for a while, luckily I have more seeds than I can use right now.
