sativa & indica under same t5

hi this is my first time growing i am a medical patient, i am trying to grow 6 plants under 1 t5 light that is 4 feet with 4 bulbs. its pretty tight i think i should of went with 5 but too late. it appears 2 of the plants are sativa with longer thiner leaves. id like to know if the sativa will grow taller faster because id like to keep the light level.

of course the sativas will grow faster, just lst or top them at a small age so the indica can follow

can i lst a pattern like a dog?

You'll have no choice but to lst or supercrop trying to grow a sativa indoors. Start when they're small and tighten it a little every day or so to work them into it. Also, bend just after feeding as they're much more flexible and forgiving.

As an indoor medical grower, you'll probably want more indica dominant strains.

should i grow in a spiral pattern or back and forth z pattern or should i just keep cutting the top off? the strain is supposed to be pre 98 bubba its lime green.
