Sativa LST going out of control

Hi everyone

I have this plant which is suspected to be Silver Haze, the plant is growing from seed (Sensi indoor mix), after growing for two weeks under 250 Watt MH, I topped it and tight down the main stem to get some horizontal growth, then placed it outdoor to enjoy the full spectrum of the sun.

This is it after about one week outdoor - three weeks from seed.

I kept on tying the branches for another 15 days, and this is it at about 40 days from seed

At this point ^^ the plant started to show signs off preflower and I had to flower it indoor due the extreme heat off summer - above 40 degrees celsius.

So, now It is flowering for about 20+ days under cool tube 250 Watt HPS + 150 Watt CFL. (250 watter is all I can afford without heat build up)

I feel like the flowering is very slow, What do you guys think? am feeding it every other watering 10-40-10 at very small dosage and it is complete dark at night cycle.

You can see that the plant is getting out off control with some site so close to the light and some so far away, can I use a screen at this point of flowering to make the light even over the plant? or should I just trim some of the leaves and stems to make it fit under the light?

Any Suggestions is GREATLY appreciated
Thank you guys and happy growing

sativas generally take longer to flower. And a use of a wire or screen can help ou if you'd like, it'll create a more even canopy. just let it grow after separating a bit mroe using LST more or screen, and then when bud sites start forming, start manicuring off the small bud sites. So that you can utilize energy. Leaves are fine no matter where they are, as they cano nly help you. they provide food even if they die off.

Easy dude the plants looks in good health and well bushy for a sativa but i would get some chicken wire or some kind of screen and place it over the top of the plant, then manipulate the plant so there is a bud sight in each hole and then let it go trim her till she fits in the screen then you will have better bud development, easier to controle and manage, or look up info on SCROG growing. just a thought anyway otherwise tie her down best you can lol.....

Most deffinetely look up threads about scrogging..... that looks great though good job bro.... I use the same exact style with hybrids ... i never have grown pure sativa's yet but I end up with really nice bushes just like that but with 10 inch nugs 15 - 30 of them :) Keep grown'
