Save the Great White Shark

:confused:I picked up some GWS seeds in Amsterdam (greenhouse seeds) they all took within a couple of days and things looked good. They were growing on my window ledge and, unfortunately, my cats got interested -consequently there were only two left. Now this is my first time and I really was not sure what I was doing (still not sure). I was growing them outside and they were doing pretty well until I decided to feed them. One of them died and the other took an age to recover. The weather turned bad so I bought some lights. After week inside the growth rate speeded up. The plant is now just under three feet tall (I had previously tied down the branches to reduce height) with a canopy which is roughtly three feet by three feet (1m sq). Then I fucked up and fed it again. My beautiful canopy began to wilt and I was scared the whole plant would die, so I flushed the soil to reduce any remaining fertiliser. Quite a lot of fan leaves burned and died. The plant doesnt seem to be getting any worse and flowers are beginning to form.

The plant is in a 20 inch diameter tub with potting compost and pearlite.

Will this fuck up cause the bud production to decline - will the buds that are forming actually survive? It has been on 12/12 for two weeks now - how long till buds are fully formed (I understand that sativas are slow in this respect and I have read that it can take up to 100 days). How big do the buds on this plant usually grow (I don't know what to expect).

Would appreciate advice and/or ideas etc. I know I have been making a real mess of this (ignorant newbie) but really want to get something out of this after all, planted these seeds in April and realise, now, that I could have had this in flower/bud months ago. The longer it lives - the more opportunity for me to kill it...........help. There are masses of buds forming so loosing it would be a huge waste.

That sucks. What are you feeding it? Hopefully it will live but its gonna be stressed. Its gonna stunt its growth for a little bit. Do you have any pics of it?

You can hit reply and look for manage attachments or you can go to photobucket and copy and paste them into the text are. If you choose the photobucket way make sure you put it on private. I didnt realize this until 4000 people looked at my shit.

I am afraid I was using tomato food :? - not sure it was a good idea. I think the main problem was the quantity (I guess I thought more was better!) Now I just want to keep it alive until I get something to smoke. I have some new seeds Strawberry Haze - which I hope I can do a better job with. Is there anything I can/should do to keep this plant alive.

I would really appreciate some help.

I don't think the picture show the extent of the damage. I have removed litterally dozens of large fan leaves and I have burning and leaf curl on some of the smaller newer ones. I am worried that, even after flushing the soil, it will just burn up and die. I wondered if I should flush the soil again but maybe that will make the roots too damp?

question is have you any new leaves growg, old leaves die specialy wen they have been wat seems to be a overdose of food, leave the damaged leaves on the plant till they r completely dead, wen u have lost a few plants u can develope a phobia, let it settle down without feeding for a few days then just give it very small amounts of food,my plant died from a bug infestion of the roots, yours looks like it will recover
