After I did some digging I have learned that this is a reoccurring problem for anyone who has anything going through this facility. The Chicago ISC is apparently notorious for holding packages at their facility for days, even weeks, before being shipped. In some cases these packages just disappear. This just isn't seeds, just packages in general. Not good for my morale.
There's no legal course for overseas banks. I know it's ass backwards but you can get into serious trouble for seeds mailed within the states.
I've been tracking my seed shipment since it was ordered. It made it from UK, landed in Chicago, and now it hasn't moved for 3 days. Is this a normal delay do you think, or did it get nabbed?
I do know if this goes south and I loose out on my purchase then I'll mark it up as a learning experience and look for some good banks here in the states.
Sweet. Yeah I'm just worried and impatient at the moment. I have the guaranteed delivery. It's from Gorilla seeds. Haven't heard anything bad about them but it isn't their fault if it goes missing anyway. Looks like I'll just play the waiting game for now.
No worries, seedvault is legit. I've been ordering from them for a few years.
Yes, they usually just send it out a day or two after they receive the order. They dont send you a confirmation email or tracking # or anything, right? They just send the package when they recieve the order?
